So last night was the Retrobeutes Christmas do at Teamsport karting in Warrington.
18 of us hit the track for some manic racing, and it all got a bit competitive, there were spins, crashes and everything else you can expect from when this bunch get on track together,
Overall a good night to end the year, we'll get Christmas out of the way then we've got the 2019 show season to look forward to. 🙂

The members have voted and we have a well deserved winner for car of the year 2018.
Steven Gibson's Skoda was built at home by taking a perfectly good Audi TT, removing everything from the floor pan and dropping the Skoda body onto it, making a front engined 1.8 turbo Skoda with abs, traction control and 4x4. The original idea was tested out by mating 2 scaled down toy cars together to see if the wheel bases were compatible.
The arches were universal items made to fit, and the impressive paint finish is straight from the gun.
Overall, Steven has created a show worthy car that upsets most modern metal on the road, causes controversy in the retro car scene and is comfortable enough to be used as the daily driver which it used for.
